Photovoltaic Systems Lab (EE203)

Course Description

The EE203 intensive training lab. is designed to put the classroom theory into practice with the ultimate hands-­on PV experience available. It offers trainees the opportunity to work closely with experienced PV professionals and engineers. You will gain valuable insight and experience while installing and commissioning multiple PV systems consisting of modules, inverters, batteries, charge controllers, BOS and racking components from a wide range of manufacturers that are all big players in the PV industry. This lab. includes 20 hours of hands-on training , a course outline, examples, exercises, quizzes, assignments, final exam and a certificate of completion.

Pre-requisites: EE200 & EE201

Course Objectives

o Understand every component of PV system in details.
o Build projects using software and programs.
o Ability to design and install full PV systems (Electrical & Mechanical).
o Ability to test and check PV systems.
o Ability to solve troubles in PV systems.
